Fair Work Australia: It's Okay To Use Taxpayer Funds For Massages, Wine, Cosmetics etc

In further news of just how dysfunctional Australia's Industrial Relations framework is, Fair Work Australia today ruled that a Professor who was sacked for using taxpayer funds for "air fares, wine, massage and reflexology, cosmetics, clothes, shoes, a camera, a noodle maker, speaker systems, groceries, bedding and tourist attraction ticketsis entitled for compensation because his dismissal was "harsh".
It's all okay, you see, because "Commission deputy president Greg Smith, in his judgment, said Professor Jin genuinely believed he was entitled to spend the money."

That's the Fair Work Australia legislation summed up in a nutshell.
